The Family Resource Center accepts all donations including: clothing, household items, furniture, appliances, toys, diapers/wipes/formula, school supplies, and food. The agency can always use office and janitorial supplies: copy paper, stamps, toilette paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, tissues, and batteries. Please bring all donations to: 5 Professional Ct. April - Child Abuse Awareness MonthTo help bring awareness to child abuse prevention, please consider wearing blue every Monday in April. We will have a contest on our facebook page for the best picture each week in April wearing your blue!

Special ThanksGarden Study Club
A very special thanks to the Garden Study Club for hosting a baby shower for the Exchange Club Family Resource Center and stocking us up with plenty of diapers and wipes to help the families in Rome and Floyd County. "Strike Out Child Abuse" Bowling Event A very special thanks to Robin Hice, the chair person for this event. I think everyone had a great time and we raised money for a wonderful cause! United Way A thank you to the United Way for their support of The Exchange Club Family Resource Center again in 2013. We could not do it without you! Vision & Voice Family Engagement Conference This event was held February 2, 2013 at West Rome Baptist Church. It was a huge success and we hope to make it an annual event! Vision & Voice 2013 provided a forum for families, educators, community agencies, business partners, and community leaders to learn to: •Identify key issues facing our community today •Expand their knowledge and professional skills •Prepare for the challenges of today's society •Engage in helping students succeed •Identify emerging issues relevant to our community's children Night at the Movies Thank you to Meredith Brown and Julia Dent (co-chairs for 2013) for another incredibly successful and FUN event! |
