Junior Service League
The JSL of Rome has been extremely generous in selecting us for a grant that has been used to remodel our primary Visitation Room. They also provided the volunteers on Saturday, August 10 to repaint the room so that it will be ready for new carpet and furniture this week. Stop by and take a tour to see the new look!
Moe's Spirit Night
We were guests of Moe's on July 23 and they donated a portion of their sales to the Family Resource Center. Your support generated $193.49 for the families of Rome & Floyd County! THANK YOU Moe's!
Believe in the Blue Campaign
Mellow Mushroom partnered with us to promote Believe in the Blue Day on April 20th. They donated 5% of their sales for the entire day to the Center. Thank you Mellow Mushroom!
Garden Study Club
A very special thanks to the Garden Study Club for hosting a baby shower for the Exchange Club Family Resource Center and stocking us up with plenty of diapers and wipes to help the families in Rome and Floyd County.
A thank you to the United Way for their support of The Exchange Club Family Resource Center again in 2013. We could not do it without you!
Vision & Voice Family Engagement Conference
This event was held February 2, 2013 at West Rome Baptist Church. It was a huge success and we hope to make it an annual event!
Vision & Voice 2013 provided a forum for families, educators, community agencies, business partners, and community leaders to learn to:
•Identify key issues facing our community today
•Expand their knowledge and professional skills
•Prepare for the challenges of today's society
•Engage in helping students succeed
•Identify emerging issues relevant to our community's children
